biography

Brad Bealmear (b. 1953, Woodward OK) is an American artist. His work draws from a continuing contemplation of the interaction between our species and our planet. Following decades as an advertising photographer in NYC and Santa Fe, he began painting in 2014. Frustration with humanity’s destruction of Earth and its life led to much pounding and shredding of canvas.

Bealmear has mounted two solo pop-up shows in Santa Fe, NM, and has been exhibited and collected in the US and internationally. He is not, and has never been, represented by a fine art gallery. He lives and works in Santa Fe.
