Brad Bealmear is an American artist and photographer based in Santa Fe NM. For decades he was an advertising and catalog photographer in NYC and Santa Fe with a range of international clients. His work for Tiffany & Co. was one of the most widely-seen campaigns across the fashion magazine stratosphere in the late ‘80s. From 2008-1015 he photographed the female nude and semi-nudes “dressed” in flower petals and other materials affixed to the models in his Santa Fe studio. In 2014 he began to paint abstracts on canvas. His work included both environmentally-oriented abstract expressionism and figurative sharp-edged tape-cuts based on his images of models. Eventually the fine art digital illustrations that would become the 2026 series’ Mythic and Nu Blu Nudes sprang from those photography/painting beginnings.

Bealmear has mounted two solo pop-up shows in Santa Fe, NM, and has been exhibited and collected in the US and internationally. He lives and works in Santa Fe.
