About Brad
Brad Bealmear (b. 1953) was raised in Eastern New Mexico. After attending Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA in the '70s he married and moved to New York City, where he was hired to set up and run the photography studio for Tiffany & Co. His advertising imagery for luxury goods firms was published internationally.
In 2014 Brad sold most of his photo equipment to concentrate on painting in his Santa Fe studio. Since then he has produced hundreds of works, many influenced by climate change and the effects of our species on the planet and its life. In 2024 he also began creating works influenced by his dreams of flying over various places. All are abstract works. He continues to do a moderate amount of photography - and a lot of painting.
Brad's paintings are available directly through the studio. He will be participating in the 2024 Santa Fe Studio Tour in September.
